Review

Dry Leaf Assessment: Since there are not enough details regarding what type of green tea was used to make this blend, I would assume that base is Chinese gunpowder. Mature tea leaves are gently rolled in different shape nuggets. The color of the dry leaves is dark green, dull. The smell is bold vanilla, no complexity is detected.

Infused Leaf Assessment: The structure of the whole mature leaf is revealed during infusion process. The nose of wet leaves is flat vanilla or its extract, no undertones or nuances are present. After steeping, the leaves are slightly brighter green shade comparing to its dry form, still dull, but silky to touch.

Liquor: The infusion is canary green in color. The aroma reveals a solo note of vanilla without nuances. Again, no complexity of the fragrance detected. The tea offers a bold vanilla flavor without any contributions of other ingredients, including tea leaves.

Recommendation: The natural flavoring of this blend needs some improvement; the blend is simply missing on flavor composition, too boring to my taste.

Score: 75 – Drinkable
