A Little Bit about Us
Avid tea drinkers and enthusiasts will often tell you that they are NOT satisfied with drinking the same cup of tea day after day. We look forward to discovering new flavors, brands and blends which is why we’re constantly searching for new teas on the market.
Needless to say, over the last decade and counting, we’ve tried, tested and evaluated hundreds if not thousands of unique varieties, blends and brands of tea.
However, most of our previous reviews were informal and done for personal pleasure. At the time it seemed silly to go through the effort of documenting our experiences with each tea.
That being said, now all these years later we deeply regret not documenting our journey. Mainly due to the fact that we only remember the teas which we’ve kept in our personal inventories, which make up but a small percentage of the total amount of teas we’ve reviewed.
About This Blog
We started this blog in an effort to officially document all of the tea reviews that we continue to do. We do our best to take out our personal emotions, bias and expectations when reviewing the teas to ensure that you receive an accurate and objective review. We do our reviews with the deepest respect and gratitude to those who grow, collect, process, blend and introduce teas to the market. We would not base our reviews on our personal preferences, but evaluate all samples in accordance to characteristics among the type of tea that particular sample belongs to. We want people to drink good tea. We believe that a good tea must taste good.
We use a specific procedure for all the teas we test and grade them on a similar criteria. This allows for quick and easy comparison between any of the reviews we’ve done.
After our review has been published on our website it’s immediately distributed to our loyal social media community of over 22,000+ members (and growing!).
Since we do have a reputation to keep we do write both negative and positive reviews. Nothing which hasn’t been physically tested using our procedure is published to the website; this is to ensure that ALL our reviews are real and genuine.
